Juantobuy.com (formerly Juantobuyonline.blogspot.com) was created on November 2010. Its author wanted to provide a comprehensive guide to internet shopping for Filipinos. Many Pinoys are ready to open up their wallets to the global marketplace but have some questions that need to be answered.

“Juan to buy” is a phrase that describes this blog. It’s for all Juan de la Cruzes who want to shop online. Juan de la Cruz is the John Doe of the Philippines; so the blog name is a word play of “Want to buy” to fit the Pinoy audience.
