Today, my Starbucks drink was on the house. I had the opportunity* to answer an online survey by Starbucks a few days ago. A coupon code was given after I completed the survey to claim a free tall drink of my choice.
I scanned the three-panel beverage menu for a few minutes before finally deciding on my order: a Tall Dark (and handsome) Mocha Frappuccino. It was something I haven’t tried, and coincidentally, the most expensive among the choices (P165) – what a way to exploit a freebie!
I paired my free drink with one of their yummy holiday treats, s’mores! (P70 apiece)
The online survey can be found at www.mystarbucksvisit-ph.com. Here’s the catch: you’ll need to enter a customer code in order to access and answer the survey questionnaire.
I normally don’t frequent Starbucks, but this month I found myself sipping a signature drink almost every week, only to support my sister who’s collecting stamps for the 2012 planner promo.
On our visit a week ago, my barista happily congratulated me upon handing out an unusually long receipt. It turns out that the randomly generated invitation to answer their survey was attached to it, which includes the customer number. Yay!
The survey was brief, and no personal information was collected. The questions basically revolved around my Starbucks experience, feedback and competence of the particular branch and its employees.
I definitely enjoyed my freebie! Maybe you’ll also be lucky to get a customer code on your next visit to Starbucks! Let me know, ayt?
