Online Shopping: Human Nature (humanheartnature.com)

human nature shop

Human Nature by Gandang Kalikasan Inc.  is a socially conscious brand of health and beauty products proudly made in the Philippines. Its product line boasts of natural and chemical-free ingredients derived from sustainable sources. Their products are affordable and I’m all for their principles so today I found myself buying some of their products again.

I normally get my Human Nature from Shopwise, so it’s my first time to order from them online (humanheartnature.com). For those of you who are wondering how it goes, I’m sharing some screen caps and an outline of the order process here.

Shopping

Started shopping online around 9:00AM. I actually went through their items the night before, so I kind of knew what to get already. Just a few clicks was all I needed before I proceeded to the checkout page.

Checkout (Account Registration)

At the checkout, I had to register a new account or else I won’t get to the next few steps of the order process. This only required basic information and contact details so it didn’t take a lot of time to finish. I then had to confirm my registration through a link they sent on my email. So far, so good.

Shipping

There are two ways to receive my order: home delivery and store pick-up. Since their store in Commonwealth is waaaay too far from my place in Manila, I opted for home delivery. They use Xend Express for their shipments.

I am very much familiar with the courier as I’ve used their service for over 3 years myself, so plus points for buyer confidence (because they use a reliable courier)!

They charge a minimal table rate of P44.64 for my small order. There was no additional charge if I was to choose store pick-up.

Payment choices

I was anxious to see what payment options they offer. I only wanted to pay by Paypal because I really didn’t want to go out to the bank, use my Gcash balance or send my credit card info. Luckily, they accept Paypal, together with the other options I mentioned.

So, to be clear, the payment options are:

  • Globe Gcash
  • Bank deposit
  • Paypal
  • Credit Card

Order Review

The next step was the Order Review. Like me, some of you might get confused at how the prices have been changed. Don’t worry about that part because they simply took out the tax from the list price. It all totals out correctly.

Payment process

Since I opted to pay via Paypal, I was redirected to the Paypal payment page upon clicking the ‘place order’ button. For those who choose bank deposit, you will have to submit a copy of the deposit slip within a week (or else the order might get cancelled). Gcash payments can be traced, all you have to do is enter the transaction number at the Payment Information page. Those who wish to pay by credit card will need to fill out a quick form (credit card number, cardholder, etc.) at the Payment Information page, too.

Confirmation

The whole thing took me about 20 minutes. I took my sweet time reading the fine print, so that could be done in 5 minutes by another person! Anyway, after the Paypal payment, I was redirected back to Human Nature’s website with an order number.

I also received a copy of my order in my email inbox. The email stated that my order should be delivered in 1-2 days. Nice!

At around 12:00NOON, Lo and behold, I received another email that my package has been shipped! That was quick! If my expectations were right, I should receive my package tomorrow. I’ll post an update soon!

Hope you enjoyed my Human Nature online shopping walkthrough!
