Where To Buy Electronics Online

Who doesn’t love electronics? Everybody who knows how to get to this blog probably owns two or more electronic gadgets such as a cellphone or mp3 player. The convenience and functionality electronics bring has created a market with very high demand.

Going to the mall to browse electronic gadgets can be tiring and frustrating if you don’t know what you want. Asking the sales people probably won’t be much help as they will only try to sell you whatever is in stock. That’s why wise shoppers often go online to check on reviews first before deciding on a purchase..

Since you’re already online, why not look and see if the item you like is available – that way you save on time and gas! Also, for electronics like laptops, cellphones and accessories, I recommend doing your business with legit websites (not online classified ads) to get full warranty service and to avoid scams.

Here, I have listed down some legit online electronics sellers to get you started:

Tradeport.ph – Known as DJ Mow’s Podcast electronics giveaway sponsor where my sister won an mp3 player, Tradeport is an eMall or a shopping hub selling a wide variety of items. Since Tradeport is basically a trader, there’s a higher risk of order mixup in the warehouse, so always check the products upon receipt – make sure no defects and all accessories are there.

PCMadness.net.ph -This is an online catalog of what the popular PCMadness in Gilmore St. (The computer parts center of Manila) has to offer. The shopping cart on the site may look like it’s not working, but it actually is (after you put something in it). I haven’t encountered anyone who’s had a purchase experience here. Maybe I’ll buy from them one of these days to test it out.

PCX.com.ph (PCExpress) -Here’s another big time PC store’s onlin extension. The site looks clean cut with up-to-date promos on the front page.

OpenPinoy.com– This one has a very compherensive looking front page. Based on another blogger’s experience, Openpinoy overall gives great customer service experience. By the looks of it, they have been in business for a long time, only expanding online for a wider reach. They also accept volume orders for those who wish to become dealers. They only carry computer-related products, though (no cellphones, audio/video).

Asianic.com.ph -The site looks promising, but based on another blogger’s experience, her order took so long to get verified and when she finally spoke to the order handler, the latter doesn’t seem to have an idea as to how their payment process work. Still, it’s not the end of the world to try it out since they do have some good products to offer.

PCBodega.com – This is an online extension of their Aurora Blvd branch (in front if Broadway Centrum). The site looks like it badly needs an update (hello, tiled wallpaper?), PCBodega can deliver orders fast. They use LBC – on the expensive tier but very reliable. Computers and related items only here.

TipidPC.com -This is not really a standalone shop – it is actually a classifieds site BUT there are sellers with legit physical shops who post their products here. Check out the member’s info to see if they are TPC-verified.
