Booky App

Today, I only paid P265 for two full servings of meatball pomodoro pasta at The Old Spaghetti House through the Booky App.

Booky is an “all-in-one” consumer app that gives users access to discounts on food and services. Buy 1 take 1 promos through the app are most popular.

If you download the app for the first time, you get free trial for 30 days, I think. But to get the good deals, you need to subscribe as a Booky Prime member. I believe you can upgrade your account to get a 7-day free trial on Prime.

Right now, I’ve already exhausted my free trials. Good thing I got a promo code to get a 3-month Prime membership for only P9. Not bad!

Now back to my lunch – there’s a little discrepancy with the app price of P240 vs. the actual price charged on the receipt (that I had to pay) which was P265, but I didn’t let it ruin my day. Still, if anybody from Booky is reading this, maybe a price update is needed to avoid customer disappointments in the future.

Overall, the app is serving its purpose, save for a few occasions when the promotional product is out of stock in the store itself (happened in Crepes & Cream), or when a newly opened store is not yet accepting booky purchases even though the branch is already live in-app (Yi Fang).
